USB isolator
The USB isolator establishes an electrically isolated link between the computers USB port and the peripheral USB device(s). It protects the computer against external electrical influences that may cause damage or data errors.

The USB isolator transferes the USB data as well as the USB power supply voltage (max. load 400mA). The devices itself is USB powered as well and does not need any device driver as it is "transparent" for the USB data. An external power supply (5V DC; not included) can be connected to drive larger loads. If necessary the USB isolator can be jumpered to adapt low speed and high speed USB slave devices (max. 12 Mbits/s).
